The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) founded CABA Pro Bono Legal Services in 1984 to ensure that everyone—regardless of income or language—has access to justice. What began as a small volunteer effort connecting Spanish-speaking clients with attorneys has grown into a full-service nonprofit providing free legal representation to more than 1,500 individuals and families each year.
From defending homeowners during the foreclosure crisis to protecting unaccompanied immigrant children and victims of human trafficking, CABA Pro Bono has become a lifeline for the most vulnerable in our community.
Funded through grants, donations, and CABA’s annual Art in the Tropics fundraiser, its success depends on the dedication of volunteer attorneys and supporters who believe in justice for all.
Your involvement matters. Whether by taking a case, making a contribution, or spreading the word, you can help CABA Pro Bono continue changing lives and building a stronger, more compassionate community.
