Judicial Luncheon

The Judicial Committee plays a vital role in promoting transparency, integrity, and public trust in the judiciary. It oversees CABA’s Judicial Performance Poll, leads voter education initiatives, and hosts the Annual Judicial Luncheon, which provides a forum to discuss important judicial and legal issues affecting our community.

Every other year, the committee conducts and releases CABA’s Judicial Performance Poll—an objective evaluation of sitting judges and judicial candidates. The poll was created to help maintain the high standards of our judiciary and to inform voters during election years by assessing each candidate’s qualifications, professionalism, and sensitivity toward practitioners and litigants.

The committee also works to educate the public about all judicial candidates seeking election by publishing nonpartisan information on their qualifications. While CABA does not endorse any candidate, it remains deeply committed to empowering voters with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions at the ballot box.
