Cuban American Bar Association Hosts Annual Fundraiser to Benefit CABA Pro Bono Legal Services

MIAMI — December 10, 2025 – The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) raised more than $55,000 at the 20th anniversary of its annual Art in the Tropics fundraiser on Saturday, November 15 at HistoryMiami Museum. More than 200 guests enjoyed the event, Noche de Fortuna, that featured a casino night and CABA’s traditional auction. Art in the Tropics founder, Vivian De Las Cuevas, was honored with special recognition at the event.

Funds raised will benefit CABA Pro Bono Legal Services, a nonprofit founded by CABA in 1984 with the mission of changing the lives of children, individuals, and families in need through legal advocacy by providing free legal services.

“It takes a community to make this mission possible,” said Amanda Fernandez, president of CABA. “We’re deeply thankful to our donors and to the lawyers who give of their time and expertise to ensure that people without the means for legal representation still have a path to justice.”
