Criteria of Eligibility: Each year, the Cuban American Bar Foundation awards a limited number of scholarships to applicants who meet one or both of the following criteria:

A currently admitted or enrolled law student in good academic standing at an accredited law school and who:

                  • Has distinguished himself/herself in research, writing, community service and/or other activities of importance to the Cuban-American community.

                  1. An essay of no more than 1,000 words describing how the applicant is qualified pursuant to the eligibility criteria set forth above (applicants who wish to detail financial need must do so within this word limit as well);
                  1. An updated resume; and
                  1. A copy of most recent transcript.
